The El Centro book club was established in the Spring of 2023, with the purpose of bringing together the ACC community to read books of cultural significance. ACC’s Library Services has partnered with our book club to offer members a choice of in-person discussions across the district, as well as offering an online discussion that will include support from our amazing library team. Thanks to support from various areas within the College, the book club is able to provide a number of free book copies to our members. Our club is open to everyone at ACC, including students, faculty, and staff!
For the Fall 2024 semester we are reading The Sons of El Rey by Alex Espinoza. Members can pick up their free copies while supplies last beginning Monday, September 30 at ACC campus libraries. Sign up for our book club here and check out the club page for more information.
