The El Centro book club was established in the Spring of 2023, with the purpose of bringing together the ACC community to read books that . ACC’s Library Services has partnered with our book club to offer members a choice of in-person discussions across the district, as well as offering an online discussion that includes support from our amazing library team. Thanks to various areas within the College, the book club is able to provide a number of free book copies to our members.
Our club is open to everyone at ACC including students, faculty, and staff!
For the Spring 2026 semester we are reading Tales from la Vida: A Latinx Comics Anthology edited by Frederick Luis Aldama. Books will be available at any ACC library beginning February 23rd.
