Important: Zoom may currently display a message saying that you are unable to register for the meeting, or that the meeting has ended. This is expected as the advising session has not started yet or the Zoom “room” is not open yet.
What to expect
Once you join the Zoom session, you will enter the advising queue. Wait times may vary depending on the number of students seeking assistance, and the number of advisors available. If the meeting is locked, the advising queue has reached capacity.
Please be prepared to:
- Have your camera and microphone working.
- Be in a quiet, distraction-free environment.
- Show a physical photo ID on camera to verify your identity.
- Keep in mind that advisors cannot meet with students who are operating a motor vehicle.
