What is GROW?
ACC GROW (Guided Reflections on Work) is a career development program for on-campus employment. ACC GROW serves as an example of educational innovation, offering a transformative experience bridging the gap between academic learning and career goals. The program strategically integrates essential skills required for employment success and empowers students with the tools and resources to thrive in a competitive workforce.

Your first step is to let us know your interest in the program. Complete the interest form and an ACC GROW staff member will follow up with you. You can also sign up for an information session (see dates on this page).
How will I benefit from ACC GROW?
All ACC student employees receive:
- Supported and targeted Job Search support
- Resume and interview skills development
- Access to ongoing career coaching support
- An introduction to the core career competencies (career & self-development, critical thinking, leadership, teamwork, communication, equity & inclusion, professionalism, and technology/digital fluency)
- Connection with peers through monthly networking and professional development socials

Are you interested in working on campus? ACC GROW is a student employment program that merges academic learning with professional skill development. Attend this 45-minute information session to learn more about getting hired through ACC GROW. This session will cover topics including becoming career-ready, finding an on-campus job, and the benefits and outcomes of student employment.

ACC GROW New Hire Orientation | Register Here
ACC GROW is a student employment program that merges academic learning with career development. All new student employees hired through the GROW program are required to complete New Hire Orientation before the first official workday. The orientation will introduce you to the ACC GROW program requirements, expectations, and intended outcomes. NOTE: These sessions are reserved for students who have been hired through the program.

At the end of each semester, all students actively employed on campus who are participating in the ACC GROW program are required to submit this survey to help us learn more about your experience, and to collect data used to measure program outcomes.

ACC GROW Coaches assist students employed on campus in connecting and applying the skills they are learning in the classroom to their on-campus job, and work with students to develop the career competencies needed for employment after graduation. Please complete this form to refer a student for GROW coaching and we will follow up to schedule an appointment.

Supervisors are very important assets in helping students make connections between work and school. The tools and information provided through the ACC GROW Supervisor training will allow you to better help students reflect on their learning and connect their skills within and beyond the classroom.
