Student Technology Services (STS) provides a wide range of support for students to ensure they have the necessary resources for academic success. STS offers various services, including technology lending programs that allow students to borrow devices like iPads, webcams, and calculators for the semester. Additionally, STS provides comprehensive technology assistance through a help desk, accessible via phone, email, and live chat, to address issues related to campus Wi-Fi, email, and other college systems. For those looking to enhance their digital skills, STS also offers on-demand training sessions on software such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Creative Cloud, and Google Workspace. Student Technology Services can also answer questions from faculty regarding access to computing spaces and access to technology on behalf of their students—support for faculty-related instructional technologies should be directed to Educational Technology Support.
Computer Centers
Computer Centers serve as dedicated spaces for students to access a variety of technology resources. These centers offer open computing, providing a quiet environment for studying and completing coursework. They also function as checkout and return locations for technology, allowing users to borrow equipment like iPads, webcams, and calculators for short- or long-term use. Additionally, faculty can reserve Computer Centers for specific class meetings, ensuring that students have access to the necessary hardware and software for their lessons.
