Technology Training for Students

Student Technology Services is excited to offer training opportunities for students. Our Riverbat Student Technology Champions are offering the following training sessions which cover some of the most common questions we receive.

Each training will be 30 minutes long and there will be additional time for questions and hands-on assistance with the Technology Champion.


Google Workspace for Education Overview

Join us for an overview of Google Workspace for Education. This session will show you the Google Apps that are available to you (as they compare to Microsoft Office) without having to sign up or download any programs.

Respondus Lockdown Browser Overview and Installation

Join us for an overview of Respondus Lockdown Browser. This session will cover best practices for using Respondus Lockdown Browser as well as how to install the browser on Windows or Mac computers as well as iPads.

Adding assignments and syncing to your Blackboard Calendar

Join us for an overview of how to add assignments and sync them to your Blackboard calendar. This session will assist you with keeping track of your assignment due dates.

Purchasing and installation of the Adobe Creative Cloud Suite

Join us for an overview of how to purchase and install the Adobe Creative Cloud suite as well as a brief overview of what is included in the Creative Cloud suite.

Notability Overview

Join us for an overview of the Notability iPad app which is available for students to use for free on ACC owned ipads

Microsoft Office Overview (online & desktop versions)

Join us for an overview of Microsoft Office. This session will cover how to access and install the free version of Microsoft Office 365 for students as well as the differences between the online and desktop version of the program.
