Online Advising will be closed on Saturday, March 14, 2026 for IT Maintenance and Saturday, March 21, 2026 for Spring Break.
Welcome to Online Advising!
Services we provide:
- Course selection to prepare to register for classes
- Reviewing holds on your record
- Discussing degree path, transfer, or career options
Are you already a Riverbat taking classes, and you have an assigned advisor?
Please use the Find My Advisor feature to contact your assigned Advisor and set up a meeting time to discuss your questions.
If you are new to ACC or are a former Riverbat, you will meet with an Academic Guidance Specialist from the Online Advising team. You will be assigned an advisor after you begin classes.
Please be sure to use your ACC Student email for official business, like scheduling your advising appointment, to protect your information security. If you need to access your ACCmail account, please follow this link:
If you are a former student and need your email address reactivated, please call the Student Affairs Help Desk 512-223-4636 (option 8).
Returning ACC students who have not taken classes recently and have a hold requiring updated address and residency information with Enrollment & Records must complete the Address/Phone Change Form and the Residency Forms here to be cleared for registration:
Once all Admissions holds are resolved, you can meet with an Advisor in one of the following ways:

If you are a former dual credit student who previously earned college credit while enrolled in high school and are coming back to ACC to complete a degree or take classes to transfer to another college or university, please review this information.
Your official high school transcripts with a graduation date must be submitted to ACC. This is required for the Free Tuition benefits. Contact your high school Records or Counseling office to order the official transcript and have it sent to ACC.
Now that you are graduating/have graduated, we will need your complete set of college readiness scores. If you took TSI assessment in high school, please submit official scores using this online TSI request form. If you were exempt from TSI math based on SAT/ACT/TAKS/STAAR testing, you must submit official scores directly from the testing service SAT or ACT.

***Requesting ACC Transcripts – All ACC students can request official ACC transcripts FREE of charge. To transfer your credit to another school, please follow the transcript request steps online at https://admissions.austincc.edu/order-an-acc-transcript/
Important note: If you have a hold in Self Service that says “You must meet with an Advisor,” ACC does not have your complete set of TSI scores. Complete the Retrieve TSI Assessment Scores form or submit proof of test exemption (TSI completion). For more information, visit https://admissions.austincc.edu/tsi-assessment/
If you will be taking classes on campus, make sure you get your meningitis vaccination record on file: https://www.austincc.edu/admissions/meningitis-requirement. This hold does not block registration.
Send your transcripts to ACC Admissions.
If you have not already sent the official transcript(s) for the schools listed below to ACC, please do so as soon as possible to prevent a registration hold being placed on your record. Please note, high school transcripts must show a final graduation date.
Students with previous college credit: Request an official transcript from each college/university attended. To best serve you while we wait for your official transcripts to arrive, upload an unofficial transcript from your most recent college/university attended to the Supplemental Documents section of your application account. We do not require your high school transcript or GED certificate.
First-time in college students: Please request an official copy of your high school transcript or GED diploma — unofficial transcripts are not required.
