Each of the following events will be held either virtually or in person at the ACC Veterans Resource Center at the Highland Campus or ACC campuses in the district, brought to you in part by the Center for Excellence for Veteran Student Success (CEVSS)!
ACC to UT Military-Connected Transfer Workshop
Are you interested in transferring from ACC to UT? We’ll have a Veteran/Military-Connected representative from the University of Texas at Austin in person to answer any questions you may have about furthering your education and using your benefits at UT. Drop-ins are welcome. Food and refreshments will be provided.

Veteran and Military-Connected ACC Information Sessions
Whether you’re interested as a first-time student or you need a refresher, learn about education benefits, ACC resources, and other support services for veterans and military-connected students attending Austin Community College. Food and refreshments will be provided for in-person sessions.

CEVSS Study Hall – Hays Campus
Need a quiet place to study? Need some snacks and refreshments to help fuel your studying session? We’re providing a space for you at the Hays campus to get working on your Spring classwork. Study supplies, food, and refreshments will be provided.

CEVSS Valentine’s Celebration
Drop into the Veterans Resource Center on the afternoon of Friday, February 13th, to participate in some themed games and activities! This event is open to our students and their partners as well! Fun Valentine’s Day activities, food, and refreshments will be provided.

Texas Veterans Land Board Workshop (Video Available)
Join us for the Texas Veterans Land Board benefits presentation to learn all about your Veterans Benefits. We’ll share information on our land, home, and home improvement loan programs, as well as details about our Texas State Veterans Homes and Cemeteries. (Recorded on Zoom)

Holidays across the World @ the Military Network Center



ACC Veterans Outreach and our VetSuccess on Campus attended an event in Kyle on November 2nd

The Military Families Center has been added to the expanded Veterans Resource Center space. Together, they form the ACC Military Network. If you are an active-duty spouse, please visit the Military Families Center page.



The VRC offers the college’s military and veteran students a central, one-stop location for obtaining essential support services such as VA certification and advising for VA benefits. The 4,000-square-foot center also features a lounge area where students can connect with peers and participate in veteran-specific activities.
