Contact the advocate on the closest campus for individual support accessing resources or applying for benefits like SNAP and WIC. The Student Advocacy Center (SAC) also offers case management, advising, textbook & child care scholarships, clothes and more for students with very little financial support. To have an advocate reach out to a student, complete this SAC referral form or request information here.

Emergency Rental Assistance – Austin Application closes June 7 at 5 PM!
The City of Austin’s I Belong in Austin program provides financial and rental assistance to Travis County residents to prevent eviction. Applications are open the first week of each month and recipients are chosen using a lottery system. Apply here (reapply each month if not selected).
Round Rock Area Serving Center provides financial assistance to those facing eviction, as well as food and clothing: 512-244-2431    
The Housing Stability Services Provides rent-related deposits and application fees for eligible households who live in Hays, Caldwell, Blanco, or Guadalupe County and are homeless or at risk of homelessness or are experiencing housing instability. Were You Affected By The Storm? (español) Travis County
Crisis CleanUp connects those in Travis County with free help to manage tree damage and debris (including tarps) from the recent severe weather. Call 512-201-4814
Emergency tree removal (free) is available to those with downed tree limbs from the storm in Travis County who are age 55+:  Emergency tree removal request 

Cooling Centers & Heat Resources (multilingual)
Cooling centers offer daytime relief from the heat in air-conditioned spaces (not overnight shelter). Library and Parks & Rec facilities serve as cooling centers during normal operating hours. Various free and paid public aquatic facilities are open during the summer months.
