The Bats to Cats transfer program makes becoming a Texas State Bobcat as easy as 1 2 3! You can transfer with your associate degree or with as few as 15 college credits!

Eligibility Requirements

Must be a high school graduate or have earned a high school equivalency (GED)
Cannot be a former Texas State student
Cannot have already earned a bachelor’s degree
Must be currently enrolled in courses at ACC
Must remain enrolled at ACC for one long semester (spring or fall) after declaring for the program
Must be pursuing a Bats to Cats major, and have the corresponding major declared at ACC.

The Bats to Cats declaration form opens at certain times during the year.The declaration form will open on February 1 for students planning to transfer to Texas State in Spring 2027 or beyond.
