Bats to Cats Program Details

The Bats to Cats transfer program makes becoming a Texas State Bobcat as easy as 1 2 3! You can transfer with your associate degree or with as few as 15 college credits!

  • Meet with your advisor to develop a transfer plan
  • Submit the Declaration Form
  • Follow your program pathway

Eligibility Requirements

  • Must be a high school graduate or have earned a high school equivalency (GED)
  • Cannot be a former Texas State student
  • Cannot have already earned a bachelor’s degree
  • Must be currently enrolled in courses at ACC
  • Must remain enrolled at ACC for one long semester (spring or fall) after declaring for the program
  • Must be pursuing a Bats to Cats major, and have the corresponding major declared at ACC.

Included Majors

Join Bats to Cats Transfer Program

Step 1

Meet with your advisor to plan out your transfer timeline.

Step 2

Fill out the declaration form and let us know which semester you want to start.

The declaration form is open for students planning to transfer to Texas State in Spring 2027 or beyond.

Step 3

Meet other Bats to Cats students at fun events so you can stay up to date on all things Texas State Bobcats.
