The Bats to Cats transfer program makes becoming a Texas State Bobcat as easy as 1 2 3! You can transfer with your associate degree or with as few as 15 college credits!

Eligibility Requirements

Must be a high school graduate or have earned a high school equivalency (GED)
Cannot be a former Texas State student
Cannot have already earned a bachelor’s degree
Must be currently enrolled in courses at ACC
Cannot transfer to Texas State for at least one long semester (spring or fall) after submitting the declaration form
Must be pursuing a Bats to Cats major, and have the corresponding major declared at ACC

The form will open on August 1, 2026 for students planning to transfer to Texas State in Fall 2027 or beyond. The deadline to submit for Fall 2027 is December 1, 2026.
