New scheduling APP starting Spring 2027
As you look to schedule spring events and programs, Spring 2027 scheduling will be available in the new USKED app beginning in November. If you are the contact for an ACC department hosting an event or program and receive a request for sign language interpreting or CART services from a participant or member of the public, please submit a service request through USKED.

- Viewing Your Requests
To secure services, the request should be submitted as far in advance as possible, but at least 10 business days in advance of the requested date of service. Last minute requests cannot be guaranteed, though attempts will be made to secure interpreting/captioning services.
If you need to cancel services, you must email SLIC Scheduling at [email protected] at least 24 business hours (Monday through Friday, 8am-5pm) in advance to avoid any charges.
We ask that departments include the following statement in their flyers, emails, RSVPs, and other event advertisements:
We are committed to providing equal access to our events. If you require American Sign Language (ASL) interpreting services or another accommodation to participate, please contact __________________ (designated event contact) as early as possible. To support scheduling services, requests should be made at least ten business days prior to the event.
The designated contact can then submit the request in Usked for communication access requests.Changes Coming Spring 2027
Changes Coming Spring 2027
On-Demand Language & Interpretation program
ACC is preparing to launch a new On-Demand Language & Interpretation program through Languagers in spring 2027. This service will expand access to on-demand video and audio interpreting for American Sign Language (ASL) and spoken languages.
Languagers is intended for unexpected, immediate communication needs during administrative, enrollment, and student-support interactions. It is not intended for scheduled instructional purposes, including classes, presentations, tutoring or other planned academic activities that require advance-arranged interpreting or CART services.
Examples of appropriate use include unexpected student support meeting, enrollment questions, and drop-in advising.
Additional information about the spring 2027 expansion will be shared as it becomes available.
Covering Cost for Department-sponsored Events and Programs
For spring 2027, ACC departments will assume responsibility for budgeting for interpreting and CART services associated with department-sponsored events and programs. Additional guidance about this change, including request procedures, will be shared before spring implementation.
Examples of events that are required to cover the cost or providing services include, but not limited to:
- General Assembly
- Chancellor’s Employee Virtual Town Hall
- ACC graduation ceremonies
- Performances
- ACC sponsored events
*Forms should be submitted once an attendee has requested communication access services.
