The Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) helps undocumented students who are Texas residents access state financial aid*. We encourage students who are not eligible for financial aid through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to complete the TASFA instead. Do not complete both applications.
Before You Get Started
Apply to ACC and activate your ACC eID before submitting the TASFA. Your ACC eID connects your TASFA to your student account.
Ensure you meet the Texas residency requirements outlined in Senate Bill 1528 (SB 1528). Confirm your Texas Residency by submitting a Residency Affidavit Form with Admissions & Enrollment.
