Financial Aid for Undocumented Students

The Texas Application for State Financial Aid (TASFA) helps non-citizens and undocumented students who are Texas residents access state financial aid*. We encourage students who are not eligible for financial aid through the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) to complete the TASFA instead. Do not complete both applications.

Before You Get Started

Make sure you meet the Texas residency requirements outlined in Senate Bill 1528 (SB 1528). Confirm your Texas Residency by submitting a Residency Affidavit Form with Admissions & Enrollment.
